Description

Trains come and go on the various railway platforms numbered one onwards and no sooner does the train arrive than, passengers immediately board the train to their destinations. But ironically the young children that we see living on the platform have nowhere to go. The platform for them is the only home they know and their life is a destination to nowhere. Platform No. Zero explores the lives and stories of these children, many of whom we largely ignore in our day to day lives. This book is written in the language used by these children and is a novelty for Marathi readers. The author Amita Naidu has been working with the institute 'Sparrow' for the upliftment of these children.
